Croeso, fy enw yw Nicky Thomas.
I am currently on the first year of a Computing and Information Systems degree at Swansea Metropolitan University; I previously attended Swansea University to study Computer Science. I have a keen interest in Programming and Web Development and I am hoping to pursue a career in one of these after graduation from my degree,I have been interested in Web Design and Development since around 2002/2003 where I began to explore self-teaching of HTML. In 2007 I attended Swansea College and was formally introduced to programming in VB, VB was entirely new to me but quickly I gained knowledge of the language through persistence and urge to learn something which to me, is extremely interesting and beneficial.
2008 – I created a side project in College called Lost-Pixels to display my knowledge of HTML and was introduced to using Flash and CSS in websites.
2010 – I created the first NickyThomas.net webpage in the summer to portfolio my work and to maintain a constant learning stream of Web Development
2011 – I changed courses from Computer Science at Swansea University to Computing and Information Systems at Swansea Metropolitan University and re-designed NickyThomas.net implementing the newly learnt web based languages and scripting languages.
